Job Summary
Front End Specialist I supports customers and maintains the front end of the store, handling customer service, merchandising, and front-end responsibilities including operating the register, assisting with training, promoting and answering questions about promotions, supporting donation programs, and ensuring a neat front-end area; requires effective communication, organization, attention to detail, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays, and physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Open scheduling availability
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to exercise sound judgment
- Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks and activities and work within strict timeframes and deadlines
- Knowledge of industry terms and processes
- Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and Associates
