Job Summary

Design, develop, test, and support software applications while collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Participate in system design discussions, build automated tests for quality and reliability, and release applications to production using modern CI/CD practices. Provide production support for high-availability applications and share knowledge to mentor others within the engineering culture. This Full-Stack Software Engineer role is based in the office four days a week at Schwab, where Schwab Technology Services enables the future of client money management. The position supports DAFgiving360, an independent public charity helping increase charitable giving in the United States through flexible donor-advised fund solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Production experience building modern web UIs with Angular and/or React (component architecture, state management, routing, performance, accessibility, dependency injection, micro frontend architecture)
  • Build responsive UI using Material UI components and custom CSS
  • Consume REST API responses and map data to UI components such as tables, forms, and dropdowns
  • Implement token-based authentication for secure API access
  • 2-4+ years hands on server-side development with C# .NET, plus professional experience some (RESTful services, messaging, security, observability)
  • 2+ years CI/CD & DevOps experience: Practical experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Bamboo, and Bitbucket (branching strategies, PR workflows, build/test automation, environment promotion, release orchestration)
  • 2-3+ years working with RabbitMQ and GraphQL; experience with API, SOAP, and REST technologies
  • 2-3+ years with MongoDB, Oracle, and SQL Server (schema design, performance tuning, transactions, indexing, and ORMs like Entity Framework)
  • Unit testing culture with coverage and code quality monitored; comfortable with test doubles, contract testing, and CI quality gates
  • Moderate experience with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira) for documentation and delivery governance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate complex technical topics for non-technical stakeholders
  • High EQ with a track record of increasing collaboration, and fostering a healthy, inclusive work environment
  • 2+ years of Scrum experience
  • 2+ years' experience with multi team PI planning, backlog curation, dependency management, and cross train coordination; comfortable facilitating ceremonies
  • This role is expected to be in the office 4 days a week

Desired Qualifications

  • Preferred knowledge of DAFGiving360 applications and use cases
  • Knowledge donor advised fund workflows, platform services, and the mission of increasing charitable giving—able to align technical decisions to compliance and user experience expectations
  • Security & risk awareness: Knowledge of enterprise risk controls, audit readiness, and secure coding AI-assisted software development, GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering, code review automation, unit test generation, MCP integration
