Job Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain the client-side logic and interface of applications supporting simulation workflows, including high-performance computing, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop testing. Develop the front-end tech stack to ensure performance and maintainability while designing architectures that balance simplicity and flexibility. Implement user interfaces for simulation configuration, management, and monitoring, collaborating with back-end engineers to integrate systems and deliver smooth user experiences. Contribute to the design and development of a simulation system capable of automatically provisioning and deploying resources to support these workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret/Top Secret security clearance
- 3+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development
- Expertise in front-end engineering and best practices
- Expertise with HTML/CSS
- Expertise in React or Vue.js
- Proficiency in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, Lua, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience with one or more front-end architectures (monolithic, modular, micro front-ends, component-based, headless, Flux, etc.)
- Experience with API architectures (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, Webhooks, etc.)
- Experience with responsive design
- Experience with Linux-based systems
- Experience with modern DevOps practices
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DynamoDB, InfluxDB, etc.)
- U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with tools for building web interfaces (Tailwind CSS, Radix UI, Shadcn UI, etc.)
- Experience with data visualization (graphs, charts, 3D, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)
- Familiarity with system observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Docker Compose, etc.)
