Job Summary
Build and maintain frontend features using Next.js across the Fikra platform, translating product requirements into responsive, accessible UIs. Integrate with backend APIs built on Fastify and PostgreSQL via Prisma, writing clean TypeScript with maintainability in mind. Participate in code reviews, contribute to frontend standards, and work within CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows on Railway. Collaborate async with a distributed team across time zones. This role offers 40 hours/week with minimum 4 hours of overlap with US ET, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong proficiency in Next.js and TypeScript/JavaScript
- Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON data structures
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
- Ability to work independently and manage your own delivery in a remote environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with PostgreSQL or Prisma on the frontend data layer
- Familiarity with Railway or similar infrastructure platforms
- Experience working on SaaS or community-facing products
- Knowledge of YAML and Bash for scripting and configuration
