Job Summary
Develop new user-facing features using React.js, Svelte.js, and TypeScript while building reusable components and front-end libraries. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code, optimizing performance across diverse web-capable devices and browsers. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and third parties to ensure robust, maintainable applications that scale with traffic and data demands. This role requires constant code improvement, exceptional problem-solving, and over-communication in a remote startup environment focused on changing the status quo.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in React / Angular / Web Frameworks
- Jest (unit testing) experience
- Git usage
- Comfort with startups that move fast
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Over-communication capability in a remote work environment
- Analytical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of engineering and design best practices
- Experience designing, building, and scaling applications to support load changes
- Comfort dealing with complexity, moving pieces, coordinating with third parties, and cross-functional teams
- Exquisite attention to detail and ability to identify and solve edge-cases
- Comfortable learning new technologies and systems
