Job Summary
Supervise and monitor all front end functions, including cashiers, courtesy clerks, fuel associates, and the computer room operator. Enforce security policies by keeping safes locked, counting funds during shifts, and ensuring proper handling of cash, deposits, and check approvals. Maintain efficient customer service by keeping checkout lines moving, enforcing the "no more than two customers waiting" policy, and promoting ValuCard usage. Oversee housekeeping duties such as cleaning check stands, store fronts, and parking lots while ensuring adequate shopping cart availability. Monitor supply usage, enforce dress code and age-restricted product laws, and verify bank deposits. Answer incoming phone calls and assist cashiers with cart unloading. Adhere to scheduled shifts and company time and attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical and Mental demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions
- Ability to perform routine and repetitive tasks
- Ability to have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts
- Ability to adhere to company time and attendance policies
