Job Summary
Supervise and monitor all front end functions, including cashiers, courtesy clerks, fuel associates, and the computer room operator. Enforce security policies for safe combinations, keys, and funds while ensuring proper handling of cash, deposits, and check approvals. Maintain efficient customer service by keeping lines moving, enforcing the "no more than two customers waiting" policy, and promoting ValuCard usage. Monitor supply usage, enforce coupon handling procedures, and ensure adequate shopping cart availability. Uphold company dress codes, child labor laws, and compliance with state and federal regulations regarding age-restricted products, WIC, and anti-money laundering standards. Answer incoming phone calls and assist cashiers with cart unloading. Ensure all associates take scheduled breaks and lunches.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical and Mental demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
