Job Summary
Operate front-end loader and/or skid steer safely and efficiently to sort recyclable materials, including paper and co-mingled items, on the processing line. Assist with general labor tasks throughout the facility, maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, and support the team in achieving daily production goals. This hands-on position at a busy recycling facility in Gainesville, FL, requires recent experience with equipment and an understanding of sorting procedures. The role involves learning various entry-level tasks within the facility while adhering to all safety protocols in a physically demanding environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of recent front-end loader and/or skid steer experience
- Understanding of sorting procedures for paper and co-mingled materials
- Willingness to take on multiple responsibilities and learn new tasks
- Reliable, team-oriented, and goal-driven
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment and follow all safety protocols
