Front End Lead Trainee

Lead Front End operations at Giant Eagle's Heath location by maintaining consistent coverage of Self Checkout activities, directing traffic for speedy checkout, assisting cashiers, and opening/adjusting schedules and control sheets for efficiency and compliance. Take ownership of Front End responsibilities when the Front-End Leader is off duty, act as a point person for the Front End, ensure daily compliance topics (AML, scale/PIN pad checks, WIC) are addressed, order Front End supplies with cost awareness, and coach team members on efficiencies, service culture, and loss prevention. This role supports the Front End Leader on special projects and champion assignments, with annual certification required and a High school diploma or equivalent expected. The position emphasizes guest service, safe and secure operations, and the opportunity to grow within the Giant Eagle family in the Greater Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Columbus and Indianapolis Areas.
