Front End Lead Trainee

Maintain consistent coverage of all Self Checkout activities to ensure accurate sales capture and provide unparalleled guest service in a safe environment. Direct traffic flow for speedy checkout, open additional options as needed, and assist cashiers with overrides and questions. Create and manage daily schedules, control sheets, and break/lunch plans to maximize efficiency and program compliance. Monitor cash control procedures, order supplies while managing costs, and take ownership of auxiliary lines like gift cards or candy. Act as the point person for the Front End, including taking full ownership when the Front End Leader is absent. Train and coach Team Members on efficiencies, best practices, and loss prevention tactics using tools like the Cashier Coach Pad. Ensure all compliance activities are completed daily, including AML, scale/PIN pad checks, and WIC. Support the Front End Leader with special projects and champion assignments.
