Job Summary
Front End JavaScript Developer responsible for integrating designs with front-end logic, developing and maintaining single-page applications, testing and refining RESTful APIs, staying up-to-date on the latest front end technologies, contributing to design and technology decisions, establishing and promoting design guidelines, best practices and standards, conducting user research and evaluating feedback, and documenting the codebase.
Required Qualifications
- BS or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Interactive Design or related field
- 3+ years of experience in modern front end languages such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Working understanding of JavaScript framework such as Angular, Ember or React
- Experience unit testing JavaScript
- Experience calling your own or external RESTful APIs such as Google Maps or Spotify APIs
- Experience Debugging CSS layout issues
- Experience with jQuery
- Experience with building responsive websites that create a positive user experience
- Involvement with CommonJS and packaging systems such as bowserify or webpack
- Experience with Git and Github source control
