Front End Engineer – AI & LLM Powered Data Platforms

Lead the architectural evolution of our frontend UI and define design patterns, component abstractions, and typing contracts to enable rapid feature delivery without sacrificing architecture. Our frontend handles large datasets, predictive models, and AI systems, with a stack centered on TypeScript, React, and Next.js in a modern monorepo. Responsibilities include steering frontend monorepo direction (state management, routing, module boundaries), building and maintaining an internal UI component library (built on MUI), delivering high-performance, low-latency interfaces under heavy data loads, establishing architectural patterns and coding standards, and serving as the primary technical authority for frontend practices and AI-assisted coding tools. The role requires strong expertise in frontend development and a track record of shipping production-quality interfaces, with a focus on bridging design and engineering. The position is based in London, UK, with hybrid in-office presence (Tuesday–Thursday in office; Monday/Friday flexible). Compensation details include £70k-£90k per year, plus benefits and equity as part of a competitive package.
