Job Summary
Lead front-end development efforts for Barbarian by guiding 2-3 Front End Developers to build robust, user-centric web experiences within Adobe Experience Manager using React and Vue. Own design and implementation of scalable UI components, oversee project timelines and budgets with JIRA/SmartSheet, and serve as primary client liaison during development. Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, content authors, and project managers to deliver high-performance, accessible web solutions that align with client goals. Drive continuous improvement through emerging web technologies, ensure web standards compliance, and foster mentorship and code quality within the team. Location in New York, NY with up to 10% travel; telecommuting is allowed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Computer Engineering or related field
- Five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in designing and developing large-scale, highly performant SPAs using HTML5, CSS3, ES6, TypeScript, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js, or CMS (AEM or Sitecore)
- Experience with responsive design and SEO
- Ability to mentor and conduct code reviews
- Travel up to 10%
- Telecommuting permitted
