Job Summary
Seasoned frontend developer to join product team; translate customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsibility to ensure the application is optimized in both technology and user experience. Collaborate with design, product management and development teams to create elegant, usable, responsive interfaces across multiple devices. Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, build reusable content modules, and maintainable code. Implement UI development principles to ensure client-side scalability. Review and optimize app usage by monitoring key metrics and proactively addressing issues. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and drive optimal flow amid changing design/technology.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or frontend engineer
- Sound knowledge in HTML and CSS
- Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap and the CSS GRID system
- Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular et al
- Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
- Passionate to create good design and usability
- A team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of Ember & Ruby will be a plus
