Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned frontend developer to join our product team. Translate customer needs and user expectations into interactive web apps, collaborating with design, product management, and development to create elegant, usable, responsive interfaces across multiple devices. Turn UI/UX designs into prototypes, build reusable content modules, and maintain scalable client-side code. Optimize app usage by monitoring key metrics and proactively addressing issues. Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to efficient design/tech flow. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, with Ember and Ruby being a plus, are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or frontend engineer
- Sound knowledge in HTML and CSS
- Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap and the CSS GRID system
- Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular et al
- Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
- Passionate to create good design and usability
- A team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of Ember & Ruby will be a plus
