Job Summary
Seasoned frontend developer to translate customer needs and user expectations into interactive, responsive web interfaces. Collaborate with design, product management and development teams to create elegant, usable UI across devices; prototype UI/UX designs, write reusable modules, and ensure maintainability of code; implement client-side UI to scale; monitor key metrics to optimize app usage; thrives in a fast-paced environment and contributes to efficient design/technology workflows.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a web developer, UI developer, JavaScript expert or frontend engineer
- Sound knowledge in HTML and CSS
- Familiar with UI layouts, SASS, bootstrap and the CSS GRID system
- Proficient with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Angular et al
- Experience debugging using popular JavaScript-based tools like Chrome Developer Console
- Knowledge of Ember & Ruby will be a plus
- A team player with good communication skills
