Job Summary
Design and develop Vue.js and Nuxt.js front-end components for cross-functional ecommerce teams, integrating APIs and CMS systems. Migrate legacy applications from Vue 2 and Vuex to the Composition API using TypeScript while collaborating with UX designers to convert wireframes into functional pages. Manage white-label onboarding for new brands and handle stakeholder requirements for prominent clients. Requires 6+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years in cross-functional teams, and 2+ years with large development groups. Schedule includes EST hours; contract spans 12+ months.
Required Qualifications
- Solid understanding of basic CSS Specificity needs to know that specificity could be calculated
- Must be able to articulate Computed values in Vue vs Methods and understand how/when to use them
- Experience with Vue lifecycle hooks
- Understanding of state management using Vuex
- Experience with Vue 2 and Vue 3
- Strong understanding of Typescript
- Vanilla Javascript (ES6) experience (JS fundamentals need to be strong)
- Expert level knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Experience with a modern UI framework - Vue.js/NUXT
- Must have experience in supporting ecommerce applications
- 6 9 years of extensive software engineering experience
- 3 5 years of experience working in cross functional development/design teams
- 35+ years on agile teams delivering value in digital products
- 2+ years working with large development teams and legacy systems
- 2+ years with client management or handling big stakeholder teams from prominent brands
- must be able to do API integrations
- CMS dev
Desired Qualifications
- Experience migrating applications from Vue 2 and Vuex to the Composition API and Vue 3 using Typescript is ideal
- Experience working with UX designers to turn comps into pages
- White-labeling experience when it comes to onboarding brands onto an ecommerce solution
- Proven track record of delivering products that customers love to use
- Exposure to Salesforce, Mulesoft
