Job Summary
Front End Developer responsible for building and maintaining frontend applications using React, with emphasis on state management (Recoil preferred, or Redux/Context API), RESTful API integration, and testable, modular components. Collaborates in Agile environments, contributes to CI/CD pipelines, follows regulated SDLC standards (IEC 62304 or similar) for medical device-related software, and supports documentation and best practices. Bonus points for a Bachelor’s in CS or related fields and experience in regulated/medical domains. Location is LATAM/US with potential remote work; compensation in USD; long-term engagement.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Level of English
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with React and its ecosystem
- Hands-on expertise with Recoil (preferred), Redux, or Context API for state management
- Solid understanding of RESTful API integration
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.)
- Familiarity with Agile development and tools like JIRA, GitHub, GitFlow
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team
