Job Summary
Front-End Developer in the ESGW IT Department responsible for designing, building, and maintaining web applications with emphasis on usability, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. Owns UI design and styling end-to-end, contributes to selecting and standardizing a front-end framework, and collaborates closely with teammates and stakeholders through development and deployment processes. Helps establish clear, reusable front-end standards to support reliable delivery over time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or Associate degree in computer science or related field and 2-3 years of experience in front-end development or 4+ years of experience in front-end development
- Proven experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and at least one major front-end framework (React, Vue, Svelte, or Angular)
- Consuming APIs and web services
- Web technologies and frameworks
- Version control
- Integrated development environments, code editors and build tools
- Engineering web applications
- Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Effective communication skills
- Background check and DMV check
