Job Summary
Front-End Developer at CapTech responsible for collaborating with team members and clients to deliver technical solutions, creating quality deliverables, implementing front-end design patterns, mentoring, and partnering with designers to turn designs into accessible, responsive, cross-browser implementations. The role requires experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (React/Angular/Vue), semantic HTML/CSS, accessibility (WCAG/508), CSS preprocessors, responsive design, and knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms. The position emphasizes learning, leadership, and contributing to both client-facing solutions and CapTech’s internal programs.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience focusing on front-end development
- Proficient in semantic HTML and CSS, unobtrusive JavaScript
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Familiarity with mobile hybrid technologies like React Native and Flutter
- Ability to create responsive websites and device-agnostic development
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (LESS, Sass, Stylus, or PostCSS)
- Understanding of front-end development best practices (performance optimization, design patterns, SEO, client-side state management)
- Knowledge of accessibility development practices, meeting 508/WCAG compliance
- High proficiency with development tools and workflows (version control, unit testing, CI/CD)
- Familiarity with building and deploying CI/CD processes
- Experience with containerization and cloud platforms
