Job Summary
Front-End Developer at CapTech responsible for collaborating with team members and clients to deliver technical solutions that meet client needs; creating quality deliverables to communicate technical solutions; implementing front-end design patterns; mentoring and providing leadership; working with designers to turn designs into accessible implementations that adhere to guidelines; continually developing knowledge through internal programs and self-directed training; developing responsive, cross-browser web solutions using modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (React, Angular, Vue); leveraging CSS pre-processors; optimizing performance, SEO, and accessibility; and supporting CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience focusing on front-end development
- Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Familiarity with mobile hybrid technologies like React Native and Flutter
- Ability to create responsive websites and understand device agnostic development techniques
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors (LESS, Sass, Stylus, or PostCSS)
- Understanding of front-end development best practices (performance optimization, design patterns, SEO, client-side state management)
- Knowledge of accessibility development practices, meeting 508/WCAG compliance
- High proficiency with development tools and workflows (modern source control systems, unit testing, integration continuous workflow, etc.)
- Familiarity with building and deploying CI/CD processes
- Ability to convert design deliverables into a responsive, cross-browser, web solution.
- Experience with containerization and cloud platforms
- CapTech employees must be available to work onsite in a client location or a CapTech office as requested; CapTech supports remote work when compatible with CapTech and client needs
