Job Summary
Greet guests with a smiling face, operate cash registers and electronic scanners, and process payments for cash, checks, debit cards, and gift cards. Suggestively sell items, redeem coupons, and weigh produce while ensuring accurate pricing and barcode scanning. Bag or box merchandise, assist with carry-outs, and monitor checkout stations to maintain proper till balance and drawer counts. Resolve guest complaints with courtesy, answer questions, and stock shelves as needed. Maintain a clean work area, follow safety regulations, and carry out management directives. Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit required; high school diploma preferred. Full-time or part-time shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED)
- Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit
- Valid Food Handlers Permit (in some cases)
