Job Summary

Direct and manage tasks for the Center Store and Front End in conjunction with the Center Store Manager and Operations Assistant Manager. Supervise Front End Cashier, Center Store Stocker, and USS staff through mentorship, performance evaluations, and regular department huddles. Perform enhanced duties including coupon redemption, Round Up campaigns, and New Owner Drives while ensuring cashier policies are communicated. Maintain store operations by stock product timely and accurately, balancing cash boxes, completing bank runs, and correcting price discrepancies. Assist in training staff on safety, customer service, and procedures while utilizing Paylocity to document coaching and policy violations. Ensure department areas remain clean and orderly, monitor cooler temperatures, and facilitate the Oneota Co-op Special Order Program.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • at least 2 years of secondary education
  • Basic computer skills
  • Competent math and reasoning skills
  • Ability to stand and/or sit, walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach above shoulder height, and climb stairs/ladders occasionally
  • Ability to use fine motor skills for typing, grasping, and manipulating objects with fingers
  • Ability to write or type and complete checklists in written or digital format
  • Ability to read and interpret small print and alphanumeric product codes
  • Ability to work nights, weekend and non-business hour shifts as required
  • Experience serving the public
  • Attention to detail and accuracy - and good organizational abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under time pressures
