Job Summary
Design and develop scalable web-based applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript to enhance operational productivity in stores and central offices. Create and maintain tools that improve internal department and store productivity, while providing technical assistance for inventory management, point-of-sale, and back-office systems. Analyze application issues to identify improvements and address security concerns by reviewing dependencies. Maintain coding best practices and develop user documentation for business applications. This role supports MOM's grocery retail operations, requiring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in related field or equivalent experience and education
- Previous experience in application/software development coding (specifically Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Standard SQL)
- Intermediate level math skills (Algebra to Precalculus)
- Advanced experience with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac OS and Windows OS
- Previous experience in Grocery Retail
- Excellent attention to detail, especially with communication (written and verbal) and meeting deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks that change frequently and manage unexpected demands
- Dependable, follows instructions and takes initiative to solve problems
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with working with service orientation concepts and enabling technologies
- Coding or Data Analytics related certifications
