Job Summary
Monitor entrance and exit activity, perform merchandise protection procedures, and respond to Electronic Article Surveillance alarms. Greet, assist, and thank all members while resolving concerns and escalating issues as appropriate. Inspect bags, backpacks, and lunch boxes of departing members and visitors; audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery per company procedures. Review and maintain the AP Alert Binder, cross-check merchandise against receipts, and record register discrepancies. Ensure a safe, positive environment by following GOLD Member Standards and club policies. Maintain full attendance and complete required training and certification processes.
Required Qualifications

- Must successfully complete required training and certification processes
- Must be employed with the company for at least 6 months
- At least 18 years of age
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Must be able to stand and move about on hard surfaces
- Must be able to bend, pull, reach, stoop, and climb ladders/step stools
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor temperatures
- Must be able to greet, assist, and thank members in a prompt, friendly, and professional manner
- Must be able to resolve member concerns in a courteous and timely manner
- Must be able to escalate issues to management when necessary
- Must maintain and exhibit clear understanding of merchandise protection procedures and shrink alert protocols
- Must be able to review and maintain the AP Alert Binder according to AP standards
- Must be able to follow BEST procedures including cross-checking merchandise to member register receipts and verifying high dollar value items
- Must be able to record register receipt discrepancies and notify front line to immediately rectify the situation
- Must be able to audit Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery according to company procedures
- Must be able to ensure the execution of repack awareness guidelines by inspecting known repack articles
- Must be able to monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club
- Must be able to respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms according to established EAS response procedures
- Must be able to maintain high standards of safety for members and team members
- Must be able to inspect team members, members, and vendors bags, backpacks, briefcases, and lunch boxes as they are leaving the building
- Must be able to process empty water jug return vouchers to members
- Must be able to maintain all club policies and procedures
- Must be able to work in other departments as needed
