Front desk- Training Provided! Optical Technician responsible for delivering a world class Total Patient Experience while assisting patients with glasses and contact lens prescriptions. Responsibilities include determining patient needs, selling appropriate frames and lenses, ensuring accurate measurements (bridge, eye size, temple length, seg heights, vertex distance, pupillary distance, pantoscopic tilt), operating auto-lensometer and manual lensometer, dispensing and repairing glasses and contact lens orders, and educating patients on lenses and coatings. Strong emphasis on customer service in a medical office setting; proficiency with Microsoft Office tools is preferred. ABO and NCLE certifications are preferred but not required. High school diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year of customer/patient interaction experience; favorable background check and right to work in the United States required.
