Job Summary
Front Desk/Optometric Technician with training provided to support a world-class Total Patient Experience. Responsible for assisting the optometrist with initial testing using vision-testing equipment (manual/auto-lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, GDX or OCT), following testing scripts, maintaining HIPAA-compliant patient interactions, handling basic office duties, and ensuring a positive, team-oriented environment. Must be able to work a schedule that may include weekends and extended hours; proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong customer-service skills are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
