Job Summary
Front Desk Teammate at Fitness Connection in Sugar Land performs member check-ins and guest registrations, handles telephone inquiries, directs guests to the appropriate club staff, promotes the Pro Shop and merchandise, processes POS transactions, maintains front desk area, completes opening/closing duties, and supports club services to ensure a welcoming, EPIC experience for members. The role requires hospitality-focused service, effective communication in English, basic math and pricing understanding, and the ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds. Training through the EPIC Program is provided to develop knowledge of membership systems, product information, and personal training benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Previous experience in Hospitality/Customer Service preferred
- Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and effectively communicate
- Must be able to interpret business communications including personal training contracts and pricing packages
- Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills
- Physical demands include bending, squatting, jumping, running, reaching, walking, hopping, spinning, and kicking; ability to lift 50 pounds
