Job Summary
The Front Desk Team Member at ChenMed serves as a patient advocate delivering exceptional customer service, checking patients in and out of the clinic, and providing secretarial support. Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, conducting lobby checks, answering phones, verifying patient insurance, conducting 'love' calls, and assisting with follow-up appointments. Ideal candidates should have strong customer service skills, knowledge of medical insurance, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate effectively. A high school diploma is required, along with at least one year of experience in a medical setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment required
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred
