Job Summary
Front Desk Supervisor assists the Hotel Manager with day-to-day property operations to ensure 100% guest satisfaction and drive profitability. Leads hourly staff across departments, supports staff selection, and provides training, coaching, and counseling to ensure brand standards. Manages guest service issues, budgets, vendor purchases, and cross-training to provide coverage and prevent surprises. Upholds Sandpiper standards and enforces company procedures and the employee handbook. Requires leadership experience, strong English communication, conflict management, and sales skills, plus openness to all shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 1+ years in a leadership role or HR (hospitality, retail, or food service experience preferred)
- Intermediate computer skills including data access from the internet
- Proficient in English with strong conflict management, negotiation, and sales skills
