Job Summary
Front Desk Supervisor at Pet Paradise in Pooler, GA, will directly supervise Front Desk Associates, provide training and coaching, and assist management with staffing, performance reviews, and ensuring smooth guest check-ins/outs. The role involves de-escalating customer issues, maintaining lobby cleanliness, facilitating LMS trainings, and performing duties as needed by the management team. Requires leadership presence, strong customer service and sales skills, comfort with dogs up to 60 lbs, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays. Education: High school diploma or GED or related experience; physical labor and pet-handling are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years or more in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist) highly preferred
- Prior supervisory experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational, cash management, and sales skills
- Comfortable leading by example, including ‘hands-on’ task management
- Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background check
