Job Summary
Front Desk Supervisor role at Pet Paradise in Palm City, FL. Lead and supervise Front Desk Associates, providing training, coaching, and performance reviews per company standards. Responsibilities include assisting with onboarding, directing work, handling check-ins/check-outs, answering phones, deescalating customer issues, maintaining lobby cleanliness, overseeing LMS courses, and performing duties as needed by management. Must be comfortable with pet care tasks, able to lift up to 60 lbs, and adapt to a schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and peak times. Strong customer service, organizational, cash-management, and sales skills, plus prior supervisory experience and the ability to lead by example in a pet-care environment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years or more in a customer service role (Customer Service, Call Center, Receptionist) highly preferred
- Prior supervisory experience highly preferred
- Strong organizational, cash management, and sales skills
- Comfortable leading by example, including ‘hands-on’ task management
- Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass criminal background check
