Job Summary
Front Desk Supervisor, overseeing front desk operations at a Makeready location in Nashville. Responsibilities include courteously and accurately answering guest inquiries, ensuring smooth front desk operations, supervising daily shifts to uphold top guest service standards, training team members, filling in at the front desk as needed, maintaining a clean and presentable front desk, resolving guest issues, arranging transportation for guests, and coordinating with housekeeping, operations, and sales. The role requires empowering the team to make decisions, adherence to guiding principles and policies, and may include night/overnight coverage. Prior hotel experience and strong customer-service orientation are highly valued.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working in a hotel highly preferred
- Professional, personable and courteous personality
- Prior management experience highly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Highly organized and efficient
- Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- May be required to work nights and weekends, as needed
- If covering for Night Audit, must be able to stay awake during evening and overnight hours
