Job Summary
Directs and assists with training of front desk staff while performing front desk agent duties including problem-solving for guests and maintenance issues. Manages Front Desk Agents, Night Audit, Valet/Bellman, and Concierge employees by establishing thorough understanding of hotel equipment and software, providing excellent customer service, and communicating daily with other supervisors regarding issues. Ensures clean and safe environment, maintains proper uniform attire, completes daily front desk reports including cash and credit card audits, and ensures personnel policies are followed. Requires ability to work evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends. Part-time summer hours available with full-time winter hours.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work evenings, nights, holidays and weekends
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
- Must demonstrate proper phone etiquette skills at all times
- Ability to lead and direct employees during high volume business periods
- Ability to follow all duties of a front desk agent, which include the ability to problem solve for guests, maintenance or housekeeping issues
- Establishes a thorough understanding of hotel equipment and software used at the front desk
- Provides excellent customer service that goes above and beyond expectations
- Always maintains a professional presentation
- Is dressed in proper uniform attire
- Maintains a groomed appearance
- Communicates with other supervisors on a daily basis regarding any issues, problems or concerns
- Assists with weekly schedule followed by ensuring proper coverage and maintaining hours based on budget
- Completes all daily front desk reports including cash reports, credit card refunds, compensation reports, call back log, shift at a glance form, and double checking the audit
- Ensures and maintains a clean and safe environment
- Ensures the company's personnel policies are followed
Desired Qualifications
- Point of Sale and Property Management software experience
