Job Summary
Front Desk Supervisor leads the front office operations to deliver outstanding guest experiences from arrival through departure. Responsibilities include supervising daily check-in/check-out, room assignments, and guest communications; partnering with Housekeeping to ensure room readiness; coaching and developing Front Desk staff; handling cash and PMS transactions; supporting group arrivals and VIPs; driving service excellence and adherence to brand standards; monitoring guest feedback and implementing service improvements; and ensuring payroll, scheduling, and labor productivity are managed with a focus on upselling and financial accountability. The role requires a 2+ year track record in front desk or guest services in a hotel/resort environment with supervisory experience, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. It is located at Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa in California and is a full-time position.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Front Desk or Guest Services experience in a hotel or resort environment
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
