Job Summary
Oversee front office operations during scheduled shifts, maintaining a friendly demeanor while providing personalized service to hotel guests. Supervise, train, and coach the Guest Service Team on systems, processes, and guest interactions, ensuring accountability across all performance aspects. Manage room availability status, audit banks, verify maid lists, and check dry cleaning and time cards. Complete daily reports to the Guest Services Manager and maintain department communication logs. Deliver the hotel's "Home Away From Home" experience by addressing guest inquiries promptly and assisting other teams. Requires two years of hotel front desk experience, strong communication skills, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years hotel experience as Front Desk Supervisor or progressive front desk responsibility
- Hotel front desk operations and procedures
- Strong English skills, both oral and written
- Good customer service, communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
- Salesmanship and public relations
- Personnel supervision and training
- Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work assignments
- Ability to maintain good team member relations
- Ability to develop and maintain effective guest relations
- Ability to direct performance of team members and follow-up with corrective action where needed
