Job Summary
Supervise the front desk to maximize productivity and guest service. Responsibilities include greeting, registering and assigning rooms to guests; verifying payment methods; coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance; making and confirming reservations; issuing room keys and escort instructions to bellhops; maintaining records of room availability and guest accounts; posting charges and collecting payments; handling guest comments or complaints; answering inquiries about hotel services and directions; maintaining lobby and public areas; planning/scheduling supervising staff; training new associates; ensuring staff familiarity with hotel emergency procedures; balancing end-of-shift with desk agents and ensuring shift checklists are completed; delivering friendly, professional service to all guests.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED (or equivalent)
- Two to three years of supervisory experience preferred
