Job Summary

The Front Desk Supervisor (2nd Shift) is responsible for supervising front office staff to ensure Crowne Plaza standards and guest satisfaction. Key duties include maintaining daily reservation counts, using suggestive selling to upgrade rooms, registering guests efficiently, staying current on room rates/packages/discounts, developing knowledge of room types and amenities, handling guest complaints with escalation to management, planning and coordinating front office activities, performing front office agent duties as needed, and supervising/training front office personnel. Requires strong written/verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), leadership, interpersonal and customer service abilities, time management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment. Must be able to work the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY, and have knowledge of OPERA or similar PMS.

Required Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required
  • Generally 5 or more years of experience in hospitality
  • Possess computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must have knowledge of hotel Property Management System including OPERA or similar system
