Job Summary
The Anchored School is seeking an Early Childhood Education Administrator to oversee licensing compliance, health and safety management, enrollment coordination, family communication, and events; maintain licensing and health records, support enrollment processes, coordinate school events, and ensure compliance with state and local regulations, collaborating with teachers and leadership to promote a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. Responsibilities include licensing visits, audits, staff documentation, health records management, health screenings, incident and safety protocol upkeep, family onboarding and engagement, event planning, enrollment management, budgeting, reporting to leadership and regulatory agencies, and supporting hiring and staff development. The role emphasizes administrative operations, regulatory adherence, and program quality through cross-team collaboration and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in childcare administration, preschool administration, or early childhood education leadership
- Knowledge of New Jersey childcare licensing regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in maintaining confidential records and managing administrative systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems
