Job Summary
Front Desk Representative responsible for patient flow and data accuracy: perform patient check-in/check-out, collect and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information, and enter data into the EMR. Assist patients with Phreesia tablets and forms, obtain patient emails for portal registration, collect co-pays/coinsurance/deductibles, and reconcile payments. Handle patient registration, scheduling follow-ups per insurance guidelines, and provide general office support while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and delivering exceptional customer service. Requires strong communication, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and flexibility in scheduling. Preferred experience with EMR systems; basic MS Office skills; willingness to travel up to 25% and comply with regulatory competencies; influenza vaccination and two-step PPD as applicable in ASC settings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree preferred
