Job Summary
The Patient Representative/Front Desk Receptionist supports Pace Foot and Ankle Centers by enhancing the patient experience through front-desk duties and communications. Responsibilities include registering patients into the EMR system, collecting Insurance information and scanning into the chart, scheduling patient appointments, collecting copays and past-due balances, greeting patients professionally in person and on the phone, optimizing provider schedules, addressing patient questions and concerns, and providing efficient administrative support to healthcare providers. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, proficient data entry and general computer skills, and the ability to multitask; prior medical insurance experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
