Job Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist provides outstanding customer service by greeting patients and managing appointment schedules at a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include coordinating administration for physicians and patients, handling inquiries via a multiline phone system, ensuring accurate patient records, and managing inventories and billing. Candidates are required to possess a high school diploma, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of medical office administrative experience
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with medical record systems
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to communicate clearly to patients in person and over the telephone
