Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes, anticipate needs, and provide efficient telephone service. Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills while maintaining cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift. Accept payments, give change, and issue receipts while driving revenue by promoting products and special promotions. Answer questions regarding business procedures and policies in a customer-friendly manner. Work weekday overnight hours from 11:00pm to 5:00am Monday through Thursday and Sunday, with Friday and Saturday off. Maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment while managing multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to sit
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
- Weekday Overnight Hours based on club needs
- Monday: 11:00pm - 5:00am
- Tuesday: 11:00pm - 5:00am
- Wednesday: 11:00pm - 5:00am
- Thursday: 11:00pm - 5:00am
- Sunday: 11:30pm - 5:00am
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year Fitness experience
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
