Job Summary
Welcome and exit members with hellos and goodbyes while anticipating needs and responding promptly. Provide efficient telephone service, resolve customer concerns, and maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift. Accept payments, give change, and drive revenue by promoting products and special promotions. Answer questions regarding business procedures and policies in a customer-friendly manner. Work weekday overnight hours based on club needs, maintaining a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years old or older
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to sit
- Ability to stand
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel
- Ability to walk
- Ability to reach with arms and hands
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to crouch
- Ability to crawl
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and move objects up to 75 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year Fitness experience
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Desire to learn, seek new challenges and take on additional responsibilities
- Friendly and Professional able to deal with customers when they are on-site while cleaning is being performed
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
