Front Desk/Office Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversees and coordinates daily operations of the front desk; ensures efficient, friendly, and professional guest registration, check-out, and telephone service; directs scheduling and workflow; assists with hiring, training, motivations, and rewarding front desk agents; reviews VIP and special request reservations, updates daily room availability, and communicates important information to staff; performs front desk responsibilities as needed to facilitate guest check-in/check-out, answers questions and resolves guest problems; maintains front desk areas; provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of subordinates; demonstrates leadership, integrity, teamwork, and commitment to excellence across the hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- One to two years related experience or equivalent
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Excellent spoken and written English communications skills
