Job Summary
Front Desk Representative is the first line of contact for members and guests, delivering superior customer service while assisting with purchases and directing membership inquiries. Responsibilities include greeting members, answering calls, checking in members and signing up for classes, registering prospective members, guiding guests to the membership department, handling questions, selling supplements and retail items, processing transactions at the point of sale, maintaining a professional image, providing event information, and escalating safety or emergency issues as needed. Administrative duties include maintaining a clean lobby, opening/closing procedures, attending meetings, assisting with inventory/pricing, and following shift procedures. Requires an energetic, friendly personality, strong interpersonal/communication skills, ability to multi-task, teamwork, adherence to breaks, and the ability to stand for full shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Minimum 6 months customer service experience in health club, retail, hospitality or food service
- Basic computer skills
