Job Summary
Front Desk Manager at State College Holiday Inn overseeing reservations, registration, bell services, telephone services, and guest accounting to maximize room revenue while upholding standards. Responsible for hiring, training, and developing hotel team members, planning and adjusting weekly staff schedules, maintaining Night Audit procedures knowledge, ensuring end-of-month reports are completed, and assisting staff to deliver optimum guest service. Maintains knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, availability, and arrivals/departures; monitors cleanliness and sanitation; ensures cashiering procedures comply with accounting standards; and handles guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction. Requires 1-3 years of front office management experience, high school graduate or equivalent (some college preferred); bilingual English/Spanish a plus; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
