Job Summary
Manage all Front Desk functions and team members by directing service philosophies, developing goals, and resolving guest complaints and disputes. Observe staffing levels to meet operational and financial objectives while promoting same-day selling procedures to maximize revenue. Train staff on credit policies, coach individuals on guest needs, and lead by example using strong communication and problem-solving skills. Advocate sound financial decision-making and maintain open relationships across the team. Requires previous Front Office management experience, a degree in hospitality or business, and availability for days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous Front Office management experience
- Ability to access, retrieve, and leverage information from the hotel PMS system
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of information
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- An aptitude for self-motivation
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- Strong computer skills
- A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
- Effective listening skills to understand and clarify concerns from team members and guests
Desired Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major preferred
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, second language helpful
