Front Desk Lead - Mid shift

Job Summary

Greet and register guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and manage reservations while maximizing room revenue. Conduct thorough orientation for new Guest Services Agents and assist with higher-level concerns or complex projects. Operate the telephone switchboard, process mail and messages, and answer inquiries regarding hotel services, dining, and transportation. Maintain proper operation of the Front Desk computer system, follow credit policies, and assist in emergency procedures as required. Work a mid-shift schedule with varying hours according to hotel needs, maintaining high standards of personal appearance and grooming.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • College course work in related field preferred
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field

  • Ability to obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations

  • Knowledge of and ability to assist in emergency procedures
  • Ability to handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly efficient and courteous manner
  • Ability to fully comprehend and be able to operate all relevant aspects of the Front Desk computer system
  • Ability to be attentive friendly helpful and courteous to all guests managers and all other associates
  • Ability to use proper two-way radio etiquette at all times when communicating with other associates
  • Ability to attend meetings as required by management
