Job Summary
Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Answer incoming phone calls, manage reservations and room assignments using the property management system, and process payments and billing inquiries. Provide information about hotel amenities, dining, activities, and local attractions in the Hudson Valley while anticipating guest needs. Coordinate requests with housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage departments, and address guest concerns or complaints promptly. Maintain accurate records of guest reservations and ensure the front desk and lobby remain clean and organized. Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift light items (10–20 lbs)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- Hospitality or tourism education
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, customer service, or guest-facing roles
- Previous hotel front desk experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
